Grooming Plan December 2024 - February 15th, 2025
We are looking forward to a stellar winter here at the Arizona Nordic Village, Arizona's only cross country ski area! As most returning skiers know, the purchase of a season pass is instrumental to our grooming budget, thank you again to all who come back year after year.
Grooming will begin with our smaller equipment when conditions are favorable. With the first decent snowfall of the season, our groomers will fire up the snow cats and get to work packing our 35+ miles of trails. We plan to keep up with snowfall after every storm. Our trails will be freshened up midweek and for our busy weekends.
The section of Goshawk trail that also follows the 151E Forest Service road north to south will not be groomed on this winter, therefore it has been taken off our maps. While we would love to work this trail, the road conditions make it unsafe to do so. Here is a list of priority trails we will focus the majority of our attention on:

Babbitt Loop • Deer • Wild Turkey • Wapiti • Coyote
Black Bear • Prairie Dog • Squirrel • Goshawk
Upper/Lower Dog Trail • Tornado • Snowflake

Our northern trails will receive attention after some storms, but we will encourage guests to use the area for mostly backcountry skiing.
Please check Nordic Pulse for the most up to date grooming information. See you soon!
