Stage II Fire Restriction Now in Place

Due to warmer weather conditions, fire danger, an increase of abandoned campfires, and for public safety, Coconino National Forest officials implemented additional fire restrictions that began Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 8 a.m.

Stage 1 Fire Restrictions in Place – No Campfires Allowed

Coconino National Forest implemented Stage 1 fire restrictions as of 8:00 a.m. Thursday, June 15th. This means that campfires are prohibited until our summer monsoon rains bring significant precipitation to lessen the chance of wildfires. Smoking is prohibited on the grounds as well.
